  • Test on a throwaway project or a copy first

What it does

  • Automatic proxy naming

    Exports each clip with a filename matching your original source media. No manual renaming.

  • Synced audio

    Keeps audio in sync throughout proxy generation, so your edit stays intact.

  • Custom codec and resolution

    Choose the codec, resolution and destination folder.

  • Instant render jobs

    Starts render jobs straight away through Resolve's Deliver page.

  • Timeline integration

    Works with your active timeline, processing clips from video track 1.

  • Native UI

    Runs inside DaVinci Resolve's own interface.

How it works

  1. Install the plugin

    Download and install Smart Proxy Creator for your platform.

  2. Configure settings

    Choose your codec, resolution and output destination.

  3. Generate proxies

    Click generate and watch progress on the Deliver page.
