What it does

Import any screenplay, assign AI voices to the other characters and rehearse your lines with real-time speech recognition and instant feedback. Like running lines with a scene partner who is always available.

  • Multi-format import

    PDF, Fountain, Final Draft FDX and Fade In formats. Import from Files, iCloud, Google Drive, or drag and drop on iPad. The AI parses characters and dialogue automatically.

  • AI voice casting

    Assign distinct voices to every character, with optional ElevenLabs TTS. Choose gender and age range, and audition alternatives.

  • Speech recognition

    Apple's on-device speech framework listens as you deliver your lines. Voice Activity Detection knows when you're done.

  • Smart evaluation

    Strict mode checks exact wording. Sense mode uses AI to understand paraphrasing. Filler words are filtered out automatically.

  • Scene by scene

    Rehearse individual scenes or run the full script. The app detects scene breaks and lets you focus where you need to.

  • On-device AI

    Apple Foundation Models parse scripts and evaluate lines locally. No API key needed, no cost, private.

  • Built for iPad too

Privacy

Your scripts are your work. They stay on your device.

Script parsing and line evaluation run entirely on your device using Apple Foundation Models. No cloud required. All scripts, rehearsal history and voice configurations are stored on your device using SwiftData. Optional cloud APIs are user-controlled and API keys are stored in Keychain. Delete the app and everything is gone.

Requirements

  • Requires iOS 26 or later, on iPhone and iPad.
  • ~1.2GB storage for the AI model (optional)
  • Microphone access for rehearsal

How it works

  1. Import a script

    Import any screenplay PDF, Fountain, FDX or Fade In file. The AI parses characters and dialogue automatically.

  2. Set up characters

    Choose your role and assign AI voices to every other character. Pick gender and age, and audition voices.

  3. Rehearse

    Listen to the other characters speak, then deliver your lines. Real-time speech recognition validates your performance.
