What it does

  • Broken link detection

    Identifies HTTP 404, 500 and other error codes, with redirect tracking to the final destination.

  • Anchor validation

    Verifies that internal anchor links point to targets that exist on the page.

  • Empty link detection

    Catches placeholder links like href="#", href="" and javascript:void(0) that hurt SEO.

  • AI relevance analysis

    Optional AI integration (Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter) to check that link text matches the destination content.

  • XLSX export reports

    Generates spreadsheets with pages, link status, AI analysis and anchor validation tabs.

  • Security plugin compatible

    Detects Wordfence, Sucuri and iThemes, with specific guidance for allowlist configuration.

Requirements

  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • WordPress 6.0 or later
  • OpenSSL extension (for API key encryption)
  • DOM extension (for HTML parsing)

Optional

  • Claude API key (for AI analysis)
  • OpenAI API key (alternative AI)
  • OpenRouter API key (alternative AI)
  • Wordfence allowlist entry (if installed)

How it works

  1. Install the plugin

    Upload the ZIP file or install directly from your WordPress admin.

  2. Configure settings

    Set timeout and rate limiting, and optionally enable AI analysis with your API key.

  3. Run your scan

    Start scanning and watch progress in real time as pages are analysed in batches.

The XLSX export has four tabs.

Pages
Page ID, title, URL, link counts (internal and external)
Link status
Source page, anchor text, URL, status code, redirect destination
AI analysis
Semantic relevance scores and notes for each link
Anchors
Internal anchor validation with target ID verification
