Client, problem and scope

Client
K9 Woodland Services, three private, secure dog parks in the Chilterns near Reading, plus dog walking, day care and grooming.
The problem
An older, less flexible system for park hire and bookings.
Role and scope
I built the website that brings it all together: park hire bookings, service pages, galleries, maps and directions, testimonials and contact.

The solution in use

Owners pick one of the three fields, check availability and book private off-lead time by the hour. Service pages for walking, day care and grooming show pricing and what is included. Galleries show the fields, the woodland and the dogs, so owners see exactly what they are booking.

    Reserve any of the three secure fields, Chapel Woods, Oak Park and Wallaby Woods, for private off-lead time.

    Clear pages for dog walking, day care and grooming, each with pricing and what is included, so nobody has to phone to find out.

  • Galleries

    Photo galleries of the fields, the woodland and the dogs, showing owners exactly what they are booking.

  • Maps and layouts

    Field layouts and directions to the site at Cane End, serving Reading, Henley-on-Thames and the surrounding area.

  • Testimonials

    Customer reviews woven through the site, doing the selling in the owners' own words.

  • Contact everywhere

    Phone, email and social links kept one tap away, with a contact page for anything the site does not answer.

Important decisions

One site covers four services, and it is built to turn visitors into bookings rather than to look nice. Pricing and inclusions are on the page so the phone is not the only way to find out.

The customers' own reviews do the selling. Contact details are one tap away on every page.
