After battling neighbors with cherry pickers and a huge lack of time, I have uploaded the first of many YouTube videos – How to Remove Background Noise in Adobe Audition CC.
Ironically I think my audio is a bit muffled, I’m not sure why – I’m using a Zoom H1 with an Azden EX-503 Omni lavalier Mic. I’ll have to play and investigate more! Although having seen many “first” videos from other bloggers, I don’t think I did too bad of a job!
Anyway the video came from my frustration with trying to find a way to remove background audio (hum, fan noise etc) from a video i was editing for work. I didn’t want to get a degree in Audio Engineering to fix the problem! Luckily I found this quick technique and it worked great 🙂
